Butterflies

These delicate sugar butterflies epitomize summer without the use of flowers. Made from royal icing in a run-out technique, they can be a mass of bright colours or in soft pastels. They can be used to dress wedding, birthday or christening cakes or iced into position on individual cakes. Little cakes can be presented in a clear box finished with a ribbon for guests to take home as favours.
