Ingredients

  • 4 medium-size Spanish onions, sliced paper-thin
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 quart</

Method

In a large bowl, toss together the onions with the flour. Pour the oil into a deep fryer and heat to 360°F. About 1 cup at a time, add the onions and fry until golden brown.

Drain the onions on paper towels and repeat the process with the remaining onions.

Serve hot.
