Smoked pulled ham is seriously underrated, so I set out to fix that by transforming one of my favorite ham sandwiches, even if it comes with a pretty depressing name: funeral sandwiches. We’re talking smoky, tender ham piled with candied jalapeños and rich cheese, glazed and baked in the oven to create a crispy, sweet top. Taking a bite feels almost like dessert, but then those spicy jalapeños and smoky bark bite back. Before you know it, you’re realizing you’re eating the best ham sandwich
