Felix’s Favorite Curd Cheese Syrniki

This recipe comes from me or, to be precise, from my Ukrainian grandma, Marusya. She loved to cook and was famous in our Moldovanka neighborhood for her beautiful and powerful voice. I still have a photo of her parents, more than a century old, which she kept in the all-important “icon” corner of her house. Marusya came from a prosperous and proud Cossack family with a surname Grab who had lost their fortunes during the Soviet Revolution.
