Asian pears are one of my kids’favorite fruits. If you have ever had peeled chilled Asian pears on a hot summer day, you’ll know why. They are sweet, light, crispy, and super juicy. The Asian pear in this pie adds a delicate floral note to the flavors and a slightly different texture than in an all-apple pie recipe.
