This dish, which tastes great with brisket and pulled pork, is a play on one of my favorite dishes growing up, Mapo Tofu. You’ll find the recipe to be very similar to my Mapo Chili; however, instead of cooking with raw meat, we will be pairing this sauce with your favorite smoked meats and steamed rice. I’m a simple Chinese girl, and I can’t resist a good rice bowl! I think this sauce is great with my Smoked Brisket and House Smoked Pulled Pork recipe
